Winner Review

Winner has been one of the most player focused online betting websites ever since its formation, and this online gambling giant caters to the needs of thousands of players every day, delivering a number of high-quality and effective products including an online casino, online sports betting facilities, and even poker.

The website is clean, unique, and intuitive, and you’ll find it easy to sign up and create your account thanks to the simplistic 2-minute sign-up form. From the great promotional bonuses to the regular existing player rewards, plus the sheer number of sports betting markets available, it’s no surprise to see Winner as one of the frontrunners in what is a very competitive industry.

In today’s post, we’re going to take a look at some of the core functions of Winner, covering the website’s functionality, any exclusive features, as well as looking at some of the less publicised areas such as banking and the loyalty program.

POPULAR OFFERS & FEATURES

Winner offer all punters two main promotions to take advantage of, and we’ll cover both below:

ACCA CLUB

Winner ACCA ClubWinner’s ‘Acca Club’, which runs throughout the Premier League season, allows you to take advantage of three great bonuses all rolled into one, and all surrounding accumulators – as if you wouldn’t have guessed from the name.

Once you opt-in to the promotion you’ll enjoy the three great bonuses shown below:

Offer #1: Weekly £5 Acca – In order to claim this first bonus, all you need to do is place a minimum of 5 X £5 bets on football games and ensure that each bet is an accumulator (4+ games). Upon all of your bets being settled (win or lose) you’ll be given a £5 free bet on Monday to use on a football game of your choice. Credited at midday, there are plenty of games to choose from for your free bet, and Winner don’t restrict you much on what events/selections you can use it on – the only real requirement is that it’s got to be at least a 4-fold.

Offer #2: Free Bet If 1 Lets You Down – If you place a 6 fold or higher accumulator on one of Winner’s qualifying markets (shown on the ‘Promotions’ page), you’ll enjoy acca protection; if one of your selections lets you down, you’ll earn a free bet worth up to £25. The amount you are awarded is matched, so for example if you placed a £10 acca and one team lost, your free bet would be worth £10. The free bet is credited to your account just one hour after your acca finishes, which means you don’t have to wait long in order to use it.

Offer #3: Cash Bonus on Winnings – Place an accumulator with 6 or more selections, and Winner will grant you a very generous 25%-50% bonus depending on how many selections are in your acca. A full breakdown of the percentage awarded can be found on the Winner ‘Acca Bet Club’ promotional page, but with up to £5,000 in bonus winnings up for grabs per bet, there’s no reason not to take advantage of this great promo.

Those three offers combined make Winner’s ‘Acca Free Bet Club’ one of the best promotions around – and is yet another reason to strongly consider joining Winner if you’re not already signed up.

MOBILE LOYALTY FREE BETS

Winner Mobile Free BetsWinner state: “At Winner we like to reward our loyal customers with up to £200 in free bets every month when you place your bets on your mobile.” – this works by awarding a free £10 bet for each 20 X £10 bets you place from your mobile phone on Horse Racing events, or in-play Football, Tennis, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Snooker, and/or Darts events.

In order to be eligible for the bonus, all you need to do is make sure the bets you place carry odds of evens (1/1) or higher, and as soon as you’ve placed the required 20 bets, the £10 free bet will be credited to your account automatically.

With a maximum of 20 x £10 free bets to claim, there’s virtually no boundaries to this promotion, and while it may sound a little unrealistic to place 20 X £10 bets, just remember, it’s not like you’re playing Roulette where there’s little chance of winning; sports bets are rarely hugely profitable for bookmakers, and with the minimum odds required being 1/1, you can play it safe to some extent.

Find out more and opt-in by clicking ‘Promotions’ from the main navigation menu, and then clicking ‘Mobile Loyalty Free Bets’.

POINTS LOYALTY PROGRAMME

Winner PointsWinner offer a generous loyalty program, and at its core are what have become known as Winner Points.

This is a cross-platform points scheme, meaning it doesn’t matter whether you’re a keen punter in the sports book or a slot crazy player who is all over the online casino – Winner’s loyalty program will ensure you are rewarded for your loyalty regardless of whether you win or lose. In fact, there’s a total of £2,100 to be earned in bets and bonuses just for being a member, and as you work your way up the ranks your rewards increase.

Every £4.50 you wager on sports bets will earn you 1 Winner Point, and if you place your bets in a multiple you’ll earn 1 point for every £2 spent instead. If you’re playing in the casino you’ll earn 1 point for every £12 you wager.

As you collect more points you’ll move up the Winner loyalty program ladder which in itself allows you to collect more bonuses, and the higher you get, the bigger the prizes on offer become. Once you’ve amassed a certain number of points you can exchange them for a variety of bonuses and prizes, including free bets, re-load bonuses, entry to exclusive competitions, and more.

To find out more about the loyalty program, just head to the ‘Winner Points’ page from the ‘Promotions’ tab, where you’ll see the full terms and conditions laid out in full.

Sports Betting at Winner

Winner BetslipAs one of the busiest bookies on the planet, you would probably think that Winner would offer a broad range of sporting events for players to take advantage of, but the sad reality is that Winner let themselves down when it comes to the number of markets on offer.

This doesn’t affect the number of events within each market, of which there are plenty, but the markets themselves don’t amount to much.

You can still find all of the common markets like Football, Golf, Tennis etc, the usual; but when it comes to specialised markets the choice just isn’t there. Quite why Winner have decided not to add more and capitalize on these niche markets is a mystery, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on them to see if the situation changes, and if it does, we will of course update this page accordingly.

Unusual Markets

Winner Political BetsSurprisingly, Winner do offer a number of unusual non-sporting markets, that can sometimes be known as novelty or special bets. While you won’t find a range anywhere near as extensive as some of the bigger name bookies, you will find a number of TV specials, typically British TV shows that have significant media attention.

Political bets are also available. Brexit was a popular market at the bookmaker, and they offered a number of betting options rather than just the obvious ‘in or out’ that most bookies stuck with.

As the site is still relatively new, there is a good chance they still haven’t got round to dealing with novelty bets yet (after all they can hardly be called a priority), but it would be nice to see a bit more from Winner here.

Although having said that, more sports markets may be a better place to start.

How Good are the Odds?

Winner provide confusing odds; some could be considered very good and others very poor, there doesn’t seem to be much of a middle ground. For this reason, you’ll likely find yourself either grinning with glee at the great odds in front of you, or asking yourself why the heck you joined in the first place with such lousy prices available.

So Winner tend to swing from one extreme to the other, and while their odds on Football and Horse Racing markets are typically in-line with most other bookmakers, it can come as a shock to some players when they see the length of some of the odds on offer.

Of course, this see-saw approach to pricing can be beneficial to you if you’re able to find the decent odds, so while many markets feature less than desirable pricing structures, we do recommend punters create an account with Winner to take advantage of the occasional long odds which can appear.

In Play Betting

Winner In-playIn-play betting is one of the most revolutionary advances we’ve seen in the online sports betting industry and – much like online casinos and their live dealer casinos – live betting has transformed the industry irrevocably.

Thousands of players choose Winner’s in-play betting centre each day, and while Winner don’t offer a comprehensive ‘A-Z’ in-play market portfolio, you’ll find a great range of markets to enjoy, with the bookie actively working to add new markets and events to their range.

To access the in-play betting area you’ll need to use a specific part of the site. Find ‘In-Play’ on the main navigation menu at the top of the page, and you’ll then be taken to a screen showcasing the current in-play events, alongside any upcoming events.

The bet slip works just like it does on the regular sports book and you’ll be able to place singles and multiples, although as with all live betting markets you need to be quick in order to get your bets on in time – the odds can change fast.

BANKING

Winner offer a huge range of payment methods for you to take advantage of for both withdrawals and deposits.

In the following section you’ll see two tables. The first looks at the deposit methods available and any fees associated, along with processing times and minimum/maximum deposit amounts; the second table focuses on withdrawals, again looking at the methods available and the minimum/maximum amounts.

DEPOSIT METHOD FEE PROCESSING TIME MINIMUM MAXIMUM
Visa Debit cards Free Instant £5 £20,000
MasterCard Free Instant £5 £20,000
Neteller Free Instant £5 £37,500
Skrill Free Instant £5 £25,000
Boku: Pay by Mobile Free Instant £5 £8,000
PayPal Free Instant £10 £5,500
Entropay Free Instant £5 £770
Paysafecard Free Instant £5 £770
Bank Transfer Free Instant £5 £770

WITHDRAWAL METHOD FEE PROCESSING TIME MINIMUM MAXIMUM
Visa Debit cards Free 3-5 Days £5 £20,000
Neteller Free 1 Day £5 £37,500
Skrill Free 1 Day £5 £25,000
PayPal Free 1 Day £10 £5,500
Entropay Free Instant £5 £770
Bank Transfer Free 3 Days £5 £770

As you can see, almost all of the deposit methods act as withdrawal methods as well, and the maximum payout limits are identical to the maximum deposit limits. In the case of higher staking punters, the maximum withdrawal limit can be increased on a case by case basis, but if you do wish to raise your withdrawal limit you’ll need to get in touch with Winner directly and ask them for an increase.

Another thing to note is that ‘Processing Time’ in the withdrawal table does not refer to the time it takes Winner to process the withdrawal, but the time it takes for you to see the money in your account once Winner have approved and processed the withdrawal request.
